Welcome to Wise Wolf K9⁠. By booking or using any of our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Wise Wolf K9, including dog training, dog walking, boarding, drop-in visits, transportation, and any other related services.

Please read these terms carefully before making a booking.

1. Definitions

Throughout these Terms and Conditions:

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Wise Wolf K9.

  • “You”, “Your”, “Owner” refers to the owner, handler, or person booking services.

  • “Dog” refers to the animal(s) under our care.

  • “Services” refers to any service offered by Wise Wolf K9.

2. General Terms

By booking any service, you confirm that:

  • You are over 18 years of age.

  • You are the legal owner or authorised representative of the dog.

  • All information provided is accurate and complete.

  • Your dog is fit, healthy, and suitable for the requested service.

  • Your dog is microchipped in accordance with UK legislation.

  • Your dog wears a collar with an identification tag containing your surname, address, and contact number whilst outside your property.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate services at our discretion where safety, welfare, or behaviour concerns arise.

3. Vaccinations, Health and Welfare

Owners must disclose any relevant medical conditions, behavioural concerns, dietary requirements, injuries, or ongoing treatments before services commence.

Dogs attending boarding or group activities must:

  • Be up to date with core vaccinations or provide evidence of an appropriate titre test.

  • Have received kennel cough vaccination where recommended by your veterinarian.

  • Be free from contagious illness, parasites, fleas, ticks, or worms.

  • Not have experienced vomiting, diarrhoea, or other signs of illness within 48 hours prior to service.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog displaying signs of illness.

If a dog becomes ill or injured whilst in our care, we will make reasonable attempts to contact you. In an emergency, you authorise us to seek veterinary treatment on your behalf.

The owner accepts responsibility for all associated veterinary costs.

4. Behaviour and Temperament

Owners must disclose any history of:

  • Aggression towards people or animals

  • Resource guarding

  • Escaping or roaming behaviour

  • Excessive barking

  • Separation anxiety

  • Reactivity or fear-based behaviours

  • Previous bites or incidents

Failure to disclose behavioural concerns may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

We do not accept responsibility for incidents arising from undisclosed behavioural issues.

5. Payments

  • Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking.

  • Payment may be required in advance to secure bookings.

  • Outstanding balances must be settled within the agreed timeframe.

  • Late payments may incur additional charges.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice; however, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed rate.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Training Services

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the appointment will be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours may be charged in full.

Walking, Drop-In Visits and Transportation

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

Boarding Services

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure bookings.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the boarding start date may incur charges up to the full booking value.

We reserve the right to cancel services due to severe weather, emergencies, illness, or circumstances beyond our control.

Service-Specific Terms

7. Dog Training Services

Training outcomes vary depending on the dog’s age, temperament, health, consistency, and owner participation.

We do not guarantee specific behavioural results.

Owners agree to:

  • Attend sessions punctually.

  • Follow training advice and homework exercises.

  • Use humane, reward-based training methods.

  • Maintain consistency between sessions.

We reserve the right to terminate training if abusive, aversive, or inappropriate methods are used.

Owners remain fully responsible for their dog’s actions during and after training sessions.

8. Dog Walking Services

Dogs may be walked individually or in compatible pairs at our discretion.

Owners confirm that:

  • Their dog is legally permitted to be walked off lead where applicable.

  • They have informed us of any recall, reactivity, or behavioural concerns.

We reserve the right to keep dogs on lead or use a long line where necessary.

Walk routes, durations, and exercise intensity may vary depending on:

  • Weather conditions

  • The dog’s health and welfare

  • Safety considerations

Extreme weather conditions may result in shortened walks, altered routes, or cancellation.

9. Boarding Services

Dogs staying with us will be cared for in a home environment alongside resident dogs and, where appropriate, other guest dogs.

Owners acknowledge that:

  • Dogs may interact with other dogs under supervision.

  • Minor scratches, play-related injuries, or illnesses can occasionally occur despite reasonable precautions.

  • Daily routines may differ slightly from those at home.

Owners must provide:

  • Sufficient food for the duration of the stay

  • Any required medication with clear instructions

  • Emergency contact details

  • Veterinary contact information

If additional food, supplies, or emergency items are required during the stay, associated costs will be charged to the owner.

Owners agree that photographs and videos may be taken during boarding for welfare records and marketing purposes unless written notice is provided requesting otherwise.

10. Drop-In Visits

Drop-in visits include welfare checks, feeding, fresh water, companionship, toilet breaks, and enrichment activities as agreed.

Owners must ensure:

  • Access arrangements are clearly communicated.

  • The property is safe and secure.

  • Any alarms or special instructions are provided in advance.

We accept no responsibility for household issues arising from inadequate maintenance or undisclosed hazards.

11. Transportation Services

Owners authorise us to transport their dog by vehicle when required.

Dogs will be transported safely using suitable restraints, crates, or seatbelt attachments.

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken, transportation is undertaken at the owner’s risk.

Owners must ensure their dog is fit to travel and disclose any travel-related anxiety or medical conditions.

We reserve the right to refuse transportation if we believe it would compromise safety or welfare.

12. Keys and Property Access

Where keys, lockboxes, alarm codes, or access information are provided:

  • We will take reasonable steps to safeguard this information.

  • Keys will not be labelled with personal identifying information.

  • Owners must notify us immediately of any changes to access arrangements.

We are not liable for losses arising from faulty locks, security systems, or incorrect access information provided by the owner.

13. Photography and Social Media

We may photograph or film dogs during services for training records, welfare monitoring, and promotional purposes.

Content may be used on:

  • Our website

  • Social media platforms

  • Marketing materials

If you do not wish your dog to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us in writing before services commence.

14. Liability

Whilst every reasonable care and precaution is taken, dogs are unpredictable by nature.

Wise Wolf K9 shall not be held liable for:

  • Illness, injury, death, theft, or loss unless caused by proven negligence

  • Damage caused by your dog to people, animals, property, or vehicles

  • Veterinary costs arising from pre-existing conditions or undisclosed issues

  • Incidents resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the owner

Owners accept full responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their dog.

Nothing within these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable UK law.

15. Data Protection and Privacy

We collect and store personal information solely for the purpose of delivering our services.

Your information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

We will not share your personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary to protect the welfare of your dog.

16. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the matter promptly and fairly.

Complaints should be submitted in writing via email.

17. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
